The first snow of the season is an incredible celebration at the Jeub home. The foothills of Colorado doesn’t guarantee a long duration for the snow, but blue sky makes for semi-warm sledding. Our 6-1/2 acre property runs down to a creek in our backyard, and the kids have named each of the sledding runs. One they have nicknamed “The Cliff of Death.” Its landscape explains it all: at the end of the longest run in our backyard is a sudden drop and into bushes. The tobaggan really makes this a joy!
