]]> By: "B" http://jeubfamily.com/2006/11/01/schoolin-down-the-highway/#comment-591 "B" Fri, 27 Feb 2009 00:43:23 +0000 http://jeubfamily.com/2006/11/01/schoolin-down-the-highway/#comment-591 Well this is Cool......I was looking at schoolies and Low and behold I found 2 rebuilt Greyhound type rear engine Diesel pushers for next to nothing,Both rebuilt,solid and roadworthy.I drove the first one 300 miles after it had sat for several years,trouble free and have made a 200 mile camping trip with lots of friends with Kids(thats all those Kids talk about When I see them),the second one I won on ebay for 750.00 I bought it for the New tires, ended up driving it home about 400 miles at 75 MPH.The age doesnt scare me as these are Industrial machines built for safety and Longevity.40X8 feet of blank canvas.with 90% of Parts available at the Local NAPA Store!The Lord does Provide.I'm enjoying adding my "Hi-end touches" to each as I go.A little Tile here,A new sink there....Follow your Dreams.and God bless!No "Sticks and Staples" for this Old Guy! Our oldest daughter just moved out about 1 month ago under similar circumstances. We currently own a 15 passenger van with a lift. We are excitedly considering a bus-conversion (with a lift). We only have 5 princesses now..but we are praying that God will bless us with more. After seeing your episode last night, I called out for my husband to hurry and try to see the TV. He missed it, but did finish the episode. I have since emailed your article to him at work and told him..our idea was not crazy! LOL. At 3,500 square feet, it will accommodate however many children God gives us. It's just getting there that's tricky, especially with daily life in our mobile home.
