The Heppners are rock stars!

I just got off the phone with Spud Heppner. The second of three episodes of Kids by the Dozen has been openly received by the Heppner family. Many of the family got together in a hotel in Fargo, North Dakota, to watch the show. Half way through Spud called me on my cell phone and said, “Are you laughing yet?” They were having a ball.

If you didn’t get a chance to see the Heppners tonight, you will have to do all you can to get a hold of this episode. The show showed the Heppners in all their reality and their glory. They are what was portrayed: a family who loves and grows together.

Wow, the Jeubs really enjoyed watching them tell their story. We love the Heppners!

I just saw this on TLC last night. I want to congratulate the Heppner’s on doing a great job with so many children.

I think children are a blessing from God and I feel bad for those that proposely limited those blessings from God. Being a Traditional Catholic I know many families with double digit numbers and I grew up in a ‘big’ family. It is a great way to grow up. Keep up the good work and don’t listen to the ones who tell you how to live your life.

I so enjoyed watching the story of the Heppners and like Mrs. Dugger (another large family mom) I find it absolutely amazing how cal and kind she is with so many children. She is truly blessed!

Oh, I forgot to tell you! Kate (4) was sitting at the dinner table last night as we were discussing who would be on the show, and she gets this scared look and this hushed voice and tells us we will be watching “Kids in the Dungeons”!!!! She still can’t figure out why we were laughing!
