Surprise Announcement at the 10th Jeub Birthday Bash

We had over 150 people at our house today to celebrate the birthdays of all our children. Pictured here are 12 of our children. Alicia hadn’t come down yet from Denver, and Alissa is in Australia. My oh my, how they are growing up, and life is good…

You are reading that right: we’re expecting our 15 child! Wendy is now 3 months along, and we announced the news this afternoon. We’re expecting another child come March. Like I said, life is good.

About Chris & Wendy Jeub

The Jeub Family live in Monument, Colorado, with 14 of their 16 children. They encourage couples to love God and love one another, building an atmosphere of love in their homes.

    Praise the Lord for the miracle and blessing of another child! We had a rather Jeubish celebration at our house today, using your turkey sandwich recipe and a homemade pinata. It was the actual birthday of our 8th child, Sabrina. We didn’t have 150, but we did manage 65, most being under the age of 10. Our 10 year old planned his own treasure hunt complete with treasure maps and “pots of gold” which were really giant monster cookies as the treasure. We live up in Steamboat Springs and our kiddos would love to meet your kiddos (the parents would like to meet you all as well). They are hoping you take us up on our invitation and come visit sometime. To add some interesting info, we moved to Colorado in 2001 from Fargo, ND. While living there and attending many homeschool conventions, we met the Heppners. At the time we only had 6 children. They were an inspiration to us then, and continue to be even still. Her organizational guides are fabulous! Anyway, we watched your program and thought it was rather like watching a home video of our own family. Our kids range from 10 months to 15 (our twins).

    And to extend the invitation again, we would love to host your entire family for a weekend, a week, whatever your little hearts desire. May the Lord be gracious to you and continue to bless you all richly as you raise your children in the fear and admonition of the Lord.

    I guess I lost count somewhere, on the show you had 13 and now you are expecting #15. You must have had a baby after filming the show? I have 10 and I have 2 “Alicias”. The younger of the two (23)daughters is currently on probation amongst other issues and the oldest(24) proclaims to be an atheist. When you said you refused to continue pouring yourselves into a child that didn’t want to be helped I very nearly burst into tears. That is the exact comment that my husband and I have both made towards the younger daughter. Maybe God, through you, clarified and condoned our decision to not allow her to come back home until she was repentive and on fire for God.
