If anyone can use this excuse and get away with it, they are parents. The minute they wake up, they have responsibilities. But the excuse becomes a lie when you insist you have NO time. That’s just not true, and if we put our minds to it, we can find the time.
I am over 40, but I’m not complaining or giving in. “Oh well, I’m 40-something, nothing I can do but put on weight.” Not for me. Instead, I love where I’m at in life and I roll with it. I need to adjust at 40-something, just like I did at 20-something and will at 60-something.

Lydia won the National Invitational Tournament of Champions in Expository Speaking last week. Here’s the video of her performance, as well as the announcement of her name at the award ceremony. It was quite the reason to cheer!
I just returned home from 12 days in California with my five oldest children. They let loose on Sunday at the beach in San Diego. Such great kids. Check out this fun video.
