Happy Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother's Day 2011

Mothers raise children for a short moment in life, but their love lasts a lifetime. That’s my rewrite of this other quote: “Mothers hold their children’s hands for a short while, but their hearts forever.”

Speaking in Colorado Springs

I'll be speaking May 18. I hope you can join me!

By the end of my speech, my hope is that every person present will be empowered to put love in their homes. Of all the things in life that we should “get right,” love is the most important. Sometimes we just need to be shown how!

Temptation to Retreat and Conform

Tabitha reading Hugo

Removal of the Tumor from my Throat

in the hospital

I had a tumor removed from my throat last month. Scary to think of, I know. Everything is fine now and I can finally say that I am fully recovered (praise God!). This is a long post, but I enjoyed writing it. It is nice to reflect on a traumatic experience and really see how God took care of me and my family.
