Lydia won the National Invitational Tournament of Champions in Expository Speaking last week. Here’s the video of her performance, as well as the announcement of her name at the award ceremony. It was quite the reason to cheer!

Opportunities for Homeschoolers
I just returned from driving the girls to Irvine, California, for the largest homeschool speech and debate tournament in history. It was really something: 500 competitors and 325 families. Are there still people out there that think homeschooling shelters people from opportunities?
